I'm Sorry I Don't Return Plastic Storage Containers

Everytime one of my lovely friends bakes me a special dish to try, I'm thrilled! --until---until they hand me the handy little plastic container with the item in it.  It's at that point in time when I wish I had a business card in my pocket that I could hand to them with this disclosure, "I'm sorry, sometimes I don't return plastic storage containers."  Now you may be the kind of person that just doesn't have a problem with this type of behavior.  But me, well, I take the container home, enjoy all of it's delectible contents, and make sure I thank the person a million times, so they know how much I enjoyed its yummy contents.  ***Then I wash up the container (thinking while I'm washing it-- "I should make something yummy to return with the container") and put it where "I know" that I will reach for it when I'm leaving the house so I can return it to them promptly. HA!  What happens between that time and when I leave and where the container hides is a mystery!  I would love to play the blame game here and say it's somebody else's fault in my family, "They moved it!".  But alas, the truth is the truth, and I have to confess..."I just don't know."  And then time goes by, I sleep, and then I forget about it until the next time the container shows up in my hands when I'm in the kitchen.  Then I feel just awful and try to go back to ***.  (I am delighted to report that some of the containers actually get back to their owners!)

But speaking of plastic containers. . .
. . . here is THE SCOOP!

My friend says the best place to find FREE plastic food storage containers is at KFC.  Their side dish containers, (according to my friend), are rounded, not too tall and fit so well when packing lunches.  So that's good enough reason for me to start going to KFC, how about you?

Mollie's Favorite Ball

I looked out the back door
 to find some interesting growth
 near my dog's  favorite ball.
